Steve Webber is a London based artist and project coordinator. He attended Liverpool College of Art in the late 60's and the Royal College of Art in the late 90's. Steve has worked in a range of media including painting and mixed media. Recent work has included collaborating with musician and sound artist Julia Schauerman with their group Maximum Density of Sound. Over the last ten years Steve has worked extensively in the area of art and visual impairment. He was a founder of and prime mover in the arts organization Art Through Touch (ATT). Recent projects with ATT have included Sounding Architecture a collaboration with the Serpentine Gallery and Shape; and collaborating with Dosensos on Six Sites for Sound. Both projects involved broadcasting on Resonance 104.4 FM. Steve is currently engaged in time based digital audio visual work.

Sally Booth is a visual artist living and working in London. She trained in Fine Art at Bristol, specialising in painting and later completed a Masters in Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art. Her art practice ranges from a contemporary approach to traditional still life, to printmaking and digital technology. Being visually impaired has been a significant factor in the development of her art practice. She has begun to incorporate her own writing into her work, having developed an interest in artistic applications of audio-description. Her projects have included 'Still Lights', a series of digital photographic light boxes exploring the nature of visual impairment. She participated in a collaborative digital arts project with London Fieldworks on Lundy Island. Sally Booth has also worked in gallery education including at the Whitechapel and Chisenhale Galleries, and is a member of the Tate Modern Access Monitoring Group.

Maria Oshodi is a writer, performer and founder of the performing arts organisation Extant. In 1992 she graduated from Middlesex University with a 1st BA honors in Drama and English. Her plays have been performed at the Royal Court Theatre's young Writers Festival, Cockpit Theatre, the screenplay 'Mug', was produced for Channel 4 and 'Hound' was produced by Graeae Theatre Company. Since 2003 she has been the full-time artistic Director of Extant, the first performing arts company in the UK managed by visually impaired arts professionals that aims to promote the arts and culture of the visually impaired community. The company has recently realised its first production: called 'Resistance' and written by Maria Oshodi, it is an innovative theatre piece based on the life of blind French resistance leader Jacques Lusseyran. 'Resistance' has toured both nationally and internationally. She also worked as a writer with BraunArts on their multi media project called 'The Dark', which opened at the Science Museum's Dana Gallery in 2004 and toured Britain extensively in 2004/5.

Julia Schauerman is a musician and sound artist based in Essex. Since 1990 she has worked freelance setting up and running music and cross arts projects in education, health, arts and community settings, around Essex, London and Suffolk. Free-form improvisation and experimental sound and music-making are her main interest, which she explores within Maximum Density of Sound, a group she set up with Steve Webber and in collaboration with Genetic Moo (performance art group), K Matrix (indie rock/pop band) and other artists. Julia is currently a Music Director at Spare Tyre Theatre Company.
