Dirk Fleischmann. Time-related processes play an essential role in Dirk Fleischmann's work. Most of his projects last for very long time periods - some of them as work-in-progress. With this he is trying to increase perception for unobtrusive processes and, often, to put them into context with economical or ecological matters. Time in the western society is determined by media consumption and economic expedience. The resulting societal conventions and circumstances are questionable and Fleischmann is experimenting with his own role in these systematics. He has been creating a network of exemplary projects, which allows him to interfere in different economical fields of society. So far it has been involving operations like kiosk, trailer rental, chicken egg production, solar power, game show, etc.. Some of these projects make a profit, which Fleischmann has always re-invested completely. This means every project is connected to another and is in a permanent state of transformation through the financial growth. Dirk Fleischmann (*1974), is based in Frankfurt a.M where he completed his studies at the Städelschule in 2002. He was recently awarded a travel grant which has enabled him to realise projects in Singapore and Seoul during 2006. His work has been shown at the Hebbel am Ufer, HAU 1 Berlin (2006), Museum of Modern Art Busan (2005), Lewis Glucksman Gallery Cork(2005), Musée d'Art Contemporain de Lyon (2004), Israeli Center of Digital Art Holon (2004), Museum Folkwang Essen (2003),

Tirdad Zolghadr. Since 1999, the focus of Zolghadr's work has shifted from documentary practices to the visual arts. After co-founding the Tehran-based feminist online magazine 'Bad Jens', he collaborated with artist Solmaz Shahbazi on a documentary on large-scale urbanism in Tehran, 'Tehran 1380'. His ongoing projects in the field of curating and criticism arose from his critical engagement with the mise-en-scene of internationalism in the arts. Recent curatorial efforts include 'Ethnic Marketing' at the Kunsthalle Geneva (with M. Anderfuhren), and the 7th International Sharjah Biennial. He is further active as a founding member of the Shahrzad Art & Design Collective, as a contributor to frieze magazine and as an editor of Bidoun, a publication on arts & culture in the Middle East.
